Worse Than Pests

Suppose you wake up hungry in the middle of the night. You walk out to your kitchen and turn on the light. You jump back, aghast at what you see.

Some small 6-legged brown creatures scamper about on the floor and walls. They run to get out of the light.

You would never have thought they were there. You try to keep a clean, secure, and well-maintained home.

Obviously, there were things hiding in dark corners and elsewhere.

If you have a spray can of poison, you grab it and spray all the little creatures you see. But some escape and run into the walls, cabinets, or other places where they can hide and breed.

You may have killed a few of them, but you have not gotten to the nest where they are breeding.

In the meantime, seeing them and the odor from the spray has ruined your appetite. You go back to bed, but have trouble sleeping, knowing that more of those creatures are out there.

Over a period of time, you kill a few, but more keep coming.

The creatures continue to breed, giving them more numbers to infest your home. They reproduce faster than you can kill them.

You finally give up and call an experienced pest control company.

Their personnel tear apart cabinets, walls, plumbing fixtures, and maybe appliances to do a thorough job.

You thank them.

But after a while, you see the creatures again.

The company explains that some eggs must have hatched from an undiscovered nest or others invaded to continue the problem. They come out and do another full treatment of your home and include the surrounding area this time.

Over time, you see no more live creatures.

The problem has been solved, but it took drastic measures to accomplish it.
