Is the US Medical Establishment Guilty of Homicide?
That question is worth asking again.
Homicide can be defined as when one human being or a group causes the death of a human.
The American medical system has some major problems, one of which we think is homicide by omission.
How many people die each year in the US from medical personnel making mistakes? A lot more than you might think. By a university estimate, 350,000.
How many people die in the US from medical practice because doctors, their organizations, and governments refuse to implement known successful treatments? We suspect that many thousands of lives were lost during the current pandemic because these groups were unwilling to use such treatments.
As a rule, the current/present medical field has a one-track approach/concept for metabolic diseases—drugs and vaccines developed by pharmaceutical companies. Most of their products seem to be directed at treating symptoms rather than healing. And many of these products have serious side effects which may later lead to further diseases with prolonged use.
The field generally doesn’t allow for natural or aided immunity, the body’s own healing processes, and other alternatives.
Such attitudes can cost lives.
For COVID-19 and other reasons, we felt it necessary to present a blog on our thoughts about medicine and medical science specifically.
First, let’s establish the terminology in this case. The disease is officially named the coronavirus disease, called COVID-19. The virus which causes the disease is named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or SARS-CoV-2.
America and countries around the world have been wallowing in a COVID-19 pandemic for about two years. Media reports say that almost 800,000 Americans have died from COVID—milliions around the world. And we may not be through with it yet. Variants keep appearing.
We hear frequently on the news and commentary that politicians and others say to “follow the science.”
But what exactly is the science for COVID? We pointed out some problems with science in general in a previous blog. Those problems clearly apply to medical science.
There was little or no medical science on COVID before the pandemic, except what might have existed from Chinese efforts to create it in the Wuhan laboratory. Our actual COVID science is still very limited. What people do call science is to a great extent limited to opinion, politics, and economics. Such “science” has led to confusion, conflicting directions, and more deaths than should have occurred.
Science should be based on precise, accurate, and relevant or appropriate data. What about the data gathered during these times?
We’ve heard many reports indicating the COVID data are questionable. Are the deaths really due to COVID or some other reason? For example, one instance we heard from a nurse who said that a person who died from another disease was designated as a COVID death because the person had COVID. The reason given for this was because there was an economic incentive to report deaths as caused by COVID. The hospital or other facility received additional funding for COVID deaths.
Some data problems apparently include the lack of an actual diagnosis or incorrect data recording.
So how many people actually died of COVID in the US? We will probably never see a full and accurate dataset and the resulting statistics.
Besides our flawed medical system, there could be many reasons why America had one of the highest death rates in the world. Human immune systems tend to decline with age. Obesity is apparently a factor, and America is ranked as the twelfth most obese nation in the world. Other factors may be existing diseases like COPD, an inadequate diet, or others which lead to a compromised immune system.
The hospital overflows and other situations could have been prevented if doctors, their organizations, and the government had been more open to alternatives.
Hydroxychloroquine has been shown in one of National Institutes of Health’s (NIH’s) own studies to reduce COVID severity when treated early in the disease progression.
Ivermectin has been badmouthed by the so-called news media, social media, and the government in what appears to be a major disinformation campaign. Many referred to it as only a horse de-worming drug, when it has been safely used in humans for parasites for decades. Ivermectin has been reported useful in reducing COVID symptoms when taken early in the disease development and reducing deaths by 75%. Even late treatment has saved lives and aided recovery.
Imagine how many families would not have lost loved ones if such negative attacks had not been successful and people had followed the real science. A 75% reduction in deaths would have resulted in maybe 200,000 deaths and dropped the COVID death rate below those for heart disease and cancer. That would mean about 600,000 more loved ones would still be alive.
In addition to causing greater numbers of deaths, government actions also probably contributed to greater instances of disease.
By directing lockdowns and closing of what they considered “non-essential” businesses, many people remained indoors at home, became more sedentary, and lost income which might have enabled a better diet.
The governments provided conflicting information about wearing masks, initially saying they don’t work, then changed their position and directed the population to wear masks. Both pro and con opinions and data still exist.
Both the governments and some businesses are mandating vaccinations. The vaccines carry risks. Their effectiveness declines over time, requiring booster shots of more vaccine materials. Many otherwise healthy people have developed cardiovascular, respiratory, and other problems from them. And we don’t know yet about any possible long-term negative effects.
Those who have had COVID and survived have reportedly developed a natural immunity to the disease, which appears better than the vaccines. But these entities still mandate vaccinations, putting unnecessary and unnatural materials into those people’s bodies.
We’ve seen several instances, in our opinion, of some in political power breaking laws during this pandemic—a President and governors have played doctor without a medical license or legal authority.
Natural immunity can be enhanced by certain things, and maybe prevent COVID occurrence.
Getting outside into the sun produces vitamin D, which has shown to be important in building immunity. Taking certain vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C and zinc have been documented to aid immunity.
There are other alternatives for treating and healing diseases, but the government generally squashes those, calling them pseudoscience or other derogatory terms. In some cases, though, these doctors or others show desirable results. Instead of unilaterally and arbitrarily punishing doctor’s and others, the government should first investigate to determine if the effects are real, fake, or due to placebo, then study how to improve and put into practice any real effects.
They/we must consider other options. Energies which can do wonderful things exist. We only need to be open to them.
A brilliant engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla is said to have claimed decades ago, “The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”
Governments and the people responsible should be held accountable for deaths by omission.
It’s past time to correct the situation where moneyed interests and political power control our health and other life options.
